One year warranty
There is a minimum service charge of $37.50 for all work done with the exception of work done in the immediate Arvada area. This service charge simply covers the gas we have to use to work on your house. All of our labor is done at a rate of $25.00 per man per hour, however most of the work we do is price negotiable. The homeowner agrees to pay for the materials used in the work on the house in addition to the labor costs of said work. All materials and work carry a limited one year warranty, as outlined below, however some jobs may require rental equipment, and we cannot provide a warranty for such equipment. All payment for the work is required upon completion of the work, with acceptable forms of payment being cash or check. We do offer a payment plan for most work, as long as the homeowner will negotiate with us. However, for all payment plans made for more than two months, interest on the work done is to accrue at a rate of 1.5% per month. In the event of a non-payment that is sent to collections, the homeowner further agrees to pay all of the costs and expenses of the collections process, including, but not limited to, the cost of a reasonable attorney (if needed), cost of the original bill and cost of the collections process. This is to help protect the homeowner, since under the Colorado Mechanics Lien Law, any entity who helps to improve the conditions of ones house, but is not paid for the work they have done, has the right to put a lien on the property they have worked on. The work that we do is to be conducted in a professional manner, and as such if we fail to provide you with a professional experience, we will work for two hours at least free of charge. In addition, it is the homeowners responsibility to make suggestions that fit with the current home repair code, and if they do not, we cannot provide a warranty for said non-code work. The reason for this is due to the code being the set of standards that are currently working the best. No warranty is transferrable to another project, only the warranty covered project. In addition, it is also the homeowners/client's responsibility to obtain the necessary work permits if needed for their residence, and these permits will be outlined, if needed, to the homeowner at the time of the bid. In addition, rental properties must obtain the permission of the homeowner before work can be performed. In the event that these conditions are met, then the work done on a house is under warranty for a period of at least one year, to be extended in certain events. This warranty covers the work that is agreed upon by all parties involved, and means that if the work is less than satisfactory we will come back and make it satisfactory. However, this warranty only covers that work in which was completed, and from natural causes (being non human caused) within that year is covered. This means that if our work fails on its own before the warranty is up, in most cases we will fix it for free. The exception to this is only being those cases where human caused damage is unavoidable, then we will fix it for a fraction of the original price. However, human caused damage that appears to have been caused intentionally is not covered, and the homeowner will be charged the full fee for the work that needs to be done (please note that in this case, the warranty on the work will be voided, as it is viewed to be intentional damage, and we do not cover such things). In some cases (to be outlined in the bidding process) some work can be eligible for an extended warranty of up to three years.
